I was accepted for an internship in the prestigious Turkish government program, specifically in the Land Mapping Department. I mastered the operation of the CORS-TR system and actively participated in CORS field measurements using GNSS, balancing the acquired data with “LeicaGEO Office” software.In collaboration with the Turkish Air Force, we collected data through flights using the “Vexcel Ultracam,” a camera installed on the underside of airplanes. After data collection, we delved into the production of Digital Surface Models and orthophotography captured by the UAV for map production via Pix4D software. The process was enhanced with the use of Nvidia 3D Vision glasses.Simultaneously, during the internship, we worked on map production using a variety of tools and techniques, including Visual SFM, 3D Modeling, SketchUp, Matlab, Aerotriangulation, Digital Terrain Models, and Stereo Compilation.At the end of the project, I was honored with a technical proficiency certificate issued by the Turkish Government, a testament to the knowledge and skills I gained during this internship.

I had the opportunity to complete an internship at the construction site of ‘Jd. Altos do Ipanema,’ a monumental project consisting of 135 reinforced masonry towers. Each tower has 4 floors and an average of 16 apartments. The project was undertaken by one of Brazil’s largest construction companies.In total, the project encompasses 2,160 apartments spread across 12 condominiums. My role involved inspecting all production processes, from the foundation to the final finishing touches, culminating in the delivery of keys to the residents. This experience, which I gained during my first semester of college, was immensely valuable for my learning and provided me with a practical insight into the career I’ve chosen.Through this internship, I firsthand experienced the challenges and rewards of civil engineering.
