As the Director of AI at Fluency, my primary objective is to spearhead the integration of artificial intelligence across our educational portfolio. During my tenure as Head of Digital Products at Fluency, I am proud to share some of our key achievements:1. Scaling Memhack: We scaled Memhack to 100,000,000 reviewed cards per year, impacting over 300,000 students. This significant growth improved student retention and engagement, contributing to their language learning success.2. Launching Fluency Talks: We successfully launched Fluency Talks (formerly Yowza), our 1-1 or 1-to-many language tutoring platform, reaching over 10,000 classes per month. This platform received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with users citing improved language proficiency.3. Proprietary Learning Management System: We launched the Beta version of our proprietary learning management system, with a global launch slated for Q3 2024. This system is set to revolutionize our approach to digital learning, integrating advanced features based on user feedback and emerging educational technologies.4. Building the Enterprise Applications Team: we established the Enterprise Applications team, focusing on leveraging automation to enhance operational efficiency. This initiative resulted in substantial monetary value by reducing costs and increasing revenue, demonstrating our commitment to innovation and operational excellence.

At Fluency Academy, one of Brazil's largest online language schools, I lead the technology and innovation team, developing digital products that improve and complement our students’ learning experience.I'm responsible for managing multidisciplinary teams generating new ideas, concepts and prototypes for new products, features and processes that have at their core the principle of improving our students’ learning while remaining aligned with our business goals.It's also my responsibility to orchestrate the execution of the projects up until their deployment, managing internal and external teams of designers and developers, also creating measurement, maintenance and continuous improvement processes to ensure the evolution of the product after its launch.During this period, I was responsible for conducting the creation of the native apps for Memhack (our own spaced repetition system) personally developing the concept, planning and design while managing the project. I was also responsible for leading the redesign efforts of Memhack web, for the creation of Fluency TV (one of the largest free language learning portals of Brazil), and for improving our course platform.Now, our team is working on the development of new features for all of the products and also developing new platforms for language learning.

Leading the design and innovation team in the development of digital projects with a focus in sites, apps and systems through a co-creative process alongside our clients. Striving to build solutions that will not only work for the business but can fulfill the needs and desires of the users.I’m responsible for facilitating co-creative workshops (with a hands-on approach, generating ideas,concepts and crafting prototypes with the team and clients), managing and developing the design team and also managing projects (from idea to deploy), closing the gap between the design team and the developers.Our team is also responsible for improving the structure of products and services at 110: rethinking and developing internal processes, developing advertisement projects for the agency, exploring new areas of work and facilitating internal co-creative sessions with our team.

Lead the design team responsible for developing websites, apps and systems. As a project manager with close contact with the dev team, my main goal was to guarantee that not only the requisites and budget of the project were met, but that the product vision remain the same, from the conception to deliver. I also was the responsible for the ux design of most of our projects (as i think that designers in leadership roles should still design), sharpening my practical skills while still being able to develop the team.
