Marine Plan Approval Engineer
CurrentResponsibilities:a) Reviewed and approved drawings and documents regarding stability and piping systems on ships, offshore units, and marine equipment, ensuring compliance with Class Rules and Statutory Regulations for new buildings, ships in service, and ship conversions.b) Provided support for the elaboration of detailed marine engineering plan reviews, adhering to applicable RINA rules, international conventions, and contractual requirements.c) Assisted clients during the design and construction phases, offering guidance and support related to stability and piping systems on ships, aligning with job requirements for assisting in the preparation of responses to offshore queries relevant to the discipline.d) Managed simple projects assigned by applying project management concepts and techniques, and taking ownership and responsibility over the financial progress of assigned tasks.e) Provided direct day-to-day support and oversight of project elements, including site visits for measurements, ensuring the project deliverables such as technical reports, project performance documentation, and engineering drawings were prepared efficiently.f) Provided support for the resolution of issues related to conflicting design requirements and material standards, assessing minor structural problems to determine solutions with minimal supervision.g) Answered contractor questions on behalf of the supervising engineer, serving as a liaison between engineering and construction personnel.h) Prepared project deliverables, including technical reports, performance documentation, and engineering drawings, contributing to the preparation of reports and KPIs on the status of coatings and other relevant aspects.
