With over 13 years of experience in human resources management, I am currently the Head of HR at AS Pasažieru vilciens, the national passenger rail operator in Latvia. In this role, I lead a team of HR professionals who support the strategic and operational goals of the company, and ensure the well-being and development of almost 1,000 employees. I am also responsible for implementing and overseeing change management initiatives, such as the digital transformation of HR processes and the introduction of new employee engagement and performance management tools. Previously, I was the Human Resources Director at Children's University Hospital Latvia, where I managed the HR function for one of the largest and most reputable medical institutions in the country, and contributed to improving the quality of care and service for patients and staff. I have a Master in Human Resources Management from Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA), and I have developed skills in team leadership, strategic planning, talent acquisition and retention, employee relations, and organizational development. I am passionate about creating a positive and inclusive work culture that fosters collaboration, innovation, and excellence. I am always eager to learn from others and share my knowledge and insights with my colleagues and partners.
