Collaborated on introducing Java capabilities for IBM IMS application restart, providing Java training for IMS DLI/SQL operations in cross-language setups with COBOL. Designed and co-developed a test bed to help QA test Java-enabled application restart, simplifying testing for both Java and Java/COBOL applications. Co-led the migration of a legacy C-based SaaS server to a Java-based system using Spring Boot, JNI, and HLASM, successfully linking a mainframe API to a UI. Developed and enhanced an Angular-based advisor tool to support DBAs in managing IBM IMS databases and improved a z/OS HLASM API to retrieve data and generate XML responses. Won a hackathon for E2E testing automation using Robot Framework, Python, and Selenium.
