During my internship, I gained valuable experience in malware analysis, utilizing both static and dynamic analysis techniques. I conducted thorough investigations on diverse malware samples, identifying their functionalities, propagation methods, and potential impact on targeted systems. I utilized a wide range of tools such as disassemblers, debuggers, sandbox environments, and network traffic analysis tools to extract relevant indicators of compromise (IOCs) and understand malware behavior.I worked closely with cross-functional teams including incident response, threat intelligence, and security operations. By providing timely and accurate information about emerging malware threats, I contributed to the overall security posture of the organization. Additionally, I developed and maintained technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices for the malware analysis processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency within the team.Furthermore, my active participation in industry forums, conferences, and online communities helped me stay updated with the latest malware trends and share insights and knowledge with the cybersecurity community.Throughout my internship, I also gained experience in producing high-quality threat and compliance reports for various technical and non-technical audiences. My knowledge of IDS/IPS, DNS, VPN, SIEM, Firewalls, Cloud services, and infrastructure further contributed to my ability to analyze and mitigate cyber threats effectively. Overall, my internship provided me with a comprehensive understanding of malware analysis, reverse engineering, cyber threat intelligence, network traffic analysis, and incident response. My experience aligns with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and the Essential 8. I am equipped with strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and a passion for cybersecurity, making me well-prepared to contribute to a professional team in the field
