Computer Vision Algorithm Programmer/Engineer- Determine the most appropriate vision tool for client's needs and write code to integrate computer vision tools into a user-friendly interface. - Conduct experiments in the vision lab to test the efficacy of vision solutions under different optical constraints. - Train and deploy deep learning machine vision models. This includes supervised and unsupervised models, over which a variety of features could be learned and searched for. - Provide technical support to clients and aid in the installation and maintenance of vision automation solutions.- Build software from scratch using C\# and Cognex software tools. Applications range from detecting defects in engine pistons, inspecting vehicles during the manufacturing process, or inspecting skin grafts.

I lead R&D Projects in the TechLab with the goal of providing innovative LTE and 5G solutions for a wide range of clients. I develop apps for network devices using Python. Furthermore I create 3D CAD & electronic prototypes of potential products.

My field of study is computationally-oriented theoretical condensed matter physics. Under Dr. Steve Johnston, I studied superconductivity in the highly correlated iron chalcogens using many-body field theoretic techniques. I also conducted electronic structure calculations using DFT via VASP software. I hoped to add to our understanding of the pairing mechanisms at play in FeSe-based high temperature superconductors. Product development of science education resources as well as technical support for science educators.- Assessed product offerings in physics education and identified new product ideas, including student laboratory kits, demonstrations, and other products as assigned. Notably led the development of an AP Physics 2 lab manual composed of 16 different laboratory experiments.- Planned, evaluated, and carried out lab testing as needed for research and development of new products; participated in the review, testing, and quality control of new vendor products.- Wrote and edited activity guides, instructions, and teacher’s notes for new products. Became familiar with Common Core and NGSS standards- Generated bills of materials, SDS, labels, and instructions for new product manufacture.- Attended national and regional conferences and conventions. Developed and presented workshops to audiences of 10-200+ science educators. Prepared and filmed instructional and product demonstration videos for the Flinn Website.- Provided technical support to costumers by responding to inquiries on the telephone, online networks, and by mail.
