Gus Perry brings his professionalism and a keen ability to motivate to his position as Executive Director of Sales for Halstead Property’s Upper Manhattan and Riverdale offices. With nearly three decades in the real estate industry, he possesses a comprehensive knowledge of the business, savvy marketing skills, and an ability to inspire and maximize the potential of agents. This is evident in his previous experience where he built the leading real estate company in Northern Manhattan and in his personal experience as a property owner and investor.Gus has a sharp ability to train and produce successful agents, develop and improve sales networks, coordinate marketing campaigns, and motivate agents to be their best. He is a tremendous asset to Halstead’s Upper Manhattan and Riverdale divisions. Gus is fully involved with the local community, is a member of several organizations, and actively donates to many charities. In his previous experiences, Gus has negotiated all facets of real estate, including land, townhouses, sales and rentals of co-ops, condominiums, parking garages, air rights, and professional and commercial leases. He has coordinated all aspects of sales processes, including financing, legal and board approval, and maintained active troubleshooting and negotiating involvement through closing. Gus also served as the consultant to co-op corporations, including marketing, legal, shareholders relations, renovation, green technology, and pricing. Gus has also been the consultant for sponsors, marketing and renovation of properties. The skills acquired in completing those tasks successfully positions him perfectly to assist his office in troubleshooting and problem solving any issues that may arise. In addition, Gus’ organizational talents and management skills were honed during his involvement in the organization of a community bank, Savoy Bank, where he was an organizer and sat on the board.
