- Provide technical expertise in pump selection based on process conditions and fluid properties to best meet the application.- Specify the most suitable type and model of pump to best perform the required duty.- Assess site conditions such as Net Positive Suction Head available, hazardous areas requirements, environmental circumstances taking into account elevation, humidity, temperature and other elements that can influence fluid dynamics. - Compilation of technical proposals and design of equipment assembly including turn-key packages. - Working with tender team, clarifying specifications for bids and contracts.- Friction loss calculations based on viscosity of fluids, flow rate, pipe diameter, pipe length, specific roughness of the pipe materials, existing bends, valves and other fittings.- Identification of appropriate material composition compatible with chemical properties of pumped fluid.- Analysis of parameters such as average velocity of fluids, Reynolds number, piping vibration.- Account management of larger technical projects and clients.- Scoping componentry and resources required for job pack.- Oversee handover of projects from design phase through engineering and delivery.- Manage progression through production and commissioning channels.

- Read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings issued by customers from different types of industries (Environment & Energy, Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Food & Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas and Mining) and develop the best pump solution for their needs.- Provide technical solutions for pump applications, preparing detailed technical and commercial quotations (Progressing Cavity Pumps, Rotary Lobe Pumps, Multi Screw Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, Diaphragm Pumps, Barrel Emptying Systems and Macerators).- Participate in bidding procedures.- Visit customers to provide technical support and identify new sales opportunities.Main achievements:- Participated actively in major projects such as Puma II (Klabin – Valmet), modernization of large hydroelectric power plants (Ilha Solteira and Jupiá - CTG Brasil) and in the supply of pumps for the 4 new corvettes of the Brazilian Navy (Águas Azuis).- 900 quotations prepared in 2021 (leading figure in the company).- Lecture given to students at the School of Beer and Malt.- Outstanding employee award in 2021.
