My career is a blend of data analytics and research. I graduated in Physics and initially delved into the field of astrophysics, immersing myself in computational modeling and high-performance simulations. My academic journey led me to international experiences, including an internship at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel and a visiting postdoc at Princeton University. In these institutions, I contributed to challenging research projects, expanding my expertise in high-performance computing. However, my quest for challenges led me to a career shift. At Clearsale, Brazil's largest fraud prevention company, I started as a senior data analyst and rose to the position of manager of a product analytics team. In this role, I contributed to the development of products, such as biometrics, device fingerprinting (and others), all related to combating fraud. My current focus is on continuing to drive innovation in the fields of data science and fraud prevention, developing practical solutions to protect businesses and consumers. My expertise and enthusiasm lies at the intersection of data science and fraud prevention, particularly using Pandas, Scikit-Learn, or deep learning to develop innovative solutions in fraud prevention.
