During 2014 I set up the fledgling business The Pub Warehouse. The business outlet is an online bazaar of commercial catering equipment and historical pub memorabilia and fixtures and fittings. Stock is sourced from local auctions as well as property/pub clearances, refurbished then and sold back into the trade. I now source specific items for customers upon request and have provided stage props for the BBC and local theater companies. I supplied several items that were used in the recent BBC period drama Dickensian.

For the last 10 years I have been the Owner Operator of The Wheatsheaf Inn, Worcester – an award Winning Freetrade Community Pub. I bought the loss making business 10 years ago with the intention of re-establishing the Pub as the hub of the local community and returning the business to a sustainable profit making outlet. I have been extremely successful in achieving my goals with the pub winning a place in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2013,2014,2015 as well as receiving accreditation from Diageo for the standard of the Guinness served at the premises. I have also reached the milestone during 2016 of becoming mortgage free and taking sole ownership of the business. Moving forward I am looking to develop the property to introduce letting rooms to the business generating a completely new revenue stream.

During 2015 I was further able to develop my sales skills while working as an Events and Partnerships Sales Fundraiser with Charity Link. Here I was sourced high quality long term charitable donors for national charities such as The Dogs Trust through face to face sales.

I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent with BSkyB developing and honing my negotiation skills and closing techniques with considerable success. During this time I prided myself on the quality of my sales as well as my compliance with Sky Behaviors.I would love to return to BskyB in a similar role in the future.
