Guy is a Chartered Landscape Architect with over 30 years of professional experience. He jointly established re-form landscape architecture in 2011. Guy's experience is wide ranging and has included a number of award winning landscape & public realm projects. He lectures on landscape and public realm issues, and is an academician of the Academy of Urbanism, a member of the Urban Design Group, and is a panel member of both the Integrate Yorkshire Regional Design Review Panel and the Places Matter Design Review Panel. He is widely experienced at all levels of planning and design from strategic landscape planning through to detailed design and implementation. He has worked across a range of sectors including public realm, residential, town centre regeneration, universities, colleges and schools, urban parks, country parks, and green infrastructure projects.Guy’s approach to landscape and urbanism is influenced by natural processes – geology, hydrology, ecology and microclimate. His work also explores the cultural history and traditions of place, and how these can be harnessed in order to shape unique places that are beautiful, functional and distinctive.
