Responsible for construction of a field compression station and add on works in two live gas plants Matilda John and Kate FCS. which included 2 compressor and cooler foundations,a pig launcher and a metering analyser slab. other general works involve bulk earthworks, detailed excavations, piling,frp,fencing.underground services and U/G earthing,rehab and backfill.

Moreton Bay Rail

General duties were responsible for construction of Three super T girder bridges, Bruce hwy over pass Dohles rocks rd bridge and a Four span bridge at Cecily St. managing of about 60 subcontractors working on substructure and superstructure works in and around these tight areas. Bruce hwy girder erection was set up under a contra-flow diversion while the 500t hydraulic crane assembled position on the hwy. all works completed ahead of time and budget.

Hunter Expressway Alliance - NSW - $825mConstruction of a new motorway from the F3 at the Newcastle link Road west-13 kilometres. Construction is largely Greenfields through steep terrain with brownfields interfaces at the F3 and Buchannan Road. The project involves major earthwork,bridgework,extensive mine void filling and interfaces with heritage rail corridor. my personal duties involved oversight of the pre-cast yard. organising all sub-contractors, labour hire and Thiess employees working there. and for the safe and efficient day-to-day running of the yard and meeting all the set targets. Constructing horizontal match cast bridge-deck segments. Precast abutment and pier segments. Mainline paving Hand pour base fibre concrete for roundabouts and mainline shoulder pours. All finishing works associated with final completion.

Brisbane

Brisbane Airport Link-QLD-$4.1bA major toll road project comprising 5.7km of road tunnel in a congested urban environment. Airport Link connects the inner northern suburbs of Brisbanewith the airport, as well as providing multi-nodal links for the road network. Complex works have included box jacking of 2 large boxes beneath six operational railway lines and cut and cover structures within a congested traffic environment. Responsible for running the segmental pre-cast yard (with four moulds); and, additionally, as first-aid officer and spin safe leader on this site. Site establishment build and construct moulds for bridge deck segments. Assemble crew together to start precast production. Logistic supervisor for on site deliveries of segments.

Brisbane

Gateway Upgrade Project - $1.88bConstruction of the second gateway bridge in Brisbane, within a live traffic operating environment off the existing gateway motorway. Works included the construction of a 10km greenfield motorway, widening of 30km of existing motorway (brownfield) and construction of a duplicate gateway bridge across the Brisbane River. Complex ground improvement techniques were used, including dynamic compaction, wick drains, surcharging, and displacement auger pilling to improve soft clay ground conditions. Leading hand responsibilities in the segmental precast yard, followed by moving out onto the construction of the bridge, to launch mobile form traveller (one of my greatest achievements).
