I am a business continuity and national security professional, with a passion for bringing together industry and whole-of-government stakeholders to solve complex operational challenges. I currently work for Icon Water with responsibility for business continuity planning. In this role I work with stakeholders from across the business to ensure appropriate emergency management and business continuity arrangements are developed and implemented. I'm the author of the Icon Water's BCP: Security Management Plan and the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) compliance framework. I am also one of the Water Services Sector Group (WSSG) Executives, providing water sector resilience advice to industry and government. The WSSG is part of the Federal Government’s Trusted Information Sharing Network (TISN).I have over 15 years of senior leadership experience, having held management roles within the Office of Transport Security (OTS), Australian Embassy Jakarta and Defence Organisation.Through this experience, I have demonstrated skills in team leadership; operational planning; national security capability building; stakeholder engagement; negotiation; and emergency management. I have also participated whole-of-government planning teams and crisis management activities and acted as lead transport- security planner for a number of important whole-of-government operations, exercises and events. From 2012 to 2015, I was posted to the Australian Embassy in Jakarta as Counsellor (Transport), pursuing the Australian Government’s transport safety and security interests in Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei and Timor Leste.I am a graduate of the Australian Command and Staff College and hold tertiary qualifications in administration from the University of Canberra, and post-graduate qualifications from the University of New South Wales.
