• As the business development manager, handling the Company’s planned expansion into South-East Asia to build a food processing plant manufacturing konjac-based vegetarian products. • Initial duties included sourcing of raw materials, quality control and logistics management from South-east Asia to China, followed by sourcing of land to grow raw material and build adjoining factory.

• Performed induction heat treatment on shafts, gears and bearings used as moving parts in coffee processing equipment• Also performed induction heat treatment on parts for an outside company• Performed hardness testing of all parts to be heat treated, before and after heat treatment• Analyzed failed parts to determine how to overcome premature failures due to inadequate prior heat treatment • Designed methods to improve the heat treatment process, by self-tempering using the induction heating machine due to the absence of tempering furnaces in the Company• Made recommendations for improving the heat treatment process, including the purchasing of ovens used for tempering after the completion of induction heat treatment, in order to reduce residual stresses and thus improve the longevity of induction heat treated parts• Designed a working manual for technician's to use the induction heat treatment machine specific to different types of materials (carbon steels, alloys etc.)
