This included engine assembly, composite manufacture (fibreglass and carbon fibre), wiring, welding the rule mandated roll bars and assorted bracketry amongst others.Testing phase:• Management of safety issues, ensuring everything required was transported to the testing locations and dealing with equipment failures uncovered during testing. There were a number of engine failures which required complete engine changes to be done overnight as well as helping to sort out the various gremlins that appear during this phase.Competition:• Planning to asses and cover the possible and likely issues that would occur and making sure backup plans and components are in place. • A failure occurred in one of the two endurance events which was fixed in time for the second.• The team finished all events and came 10th in a field where 2/3rd of entrants didn’t finish all the events.
