I spent the first 15+ years of my career learning from the very best about operating stores. I jumped from role to role gathering up information and doing everything I could to leave the work and culture at least 10% better than I found it. I learned so much…most importantly, I learned early on that culture is the foundation to everything. This learning has helped me move into so many spaces that I know little about. And it’s foundational in the concept that you can teach anyone the role, it’s much harder to teach them how to be a good person. This led me to the next chapter in my career…HR and Employment Practices.
