At Laekna Therapeutics, I lead the Corporate and Business Development group. My group's responsibilities span from leading all investments in new assets and strategic partnerships (i.e. joint ventures, co-developments), licensing, search and evaluation, due diligence and commercial strategy, transactions and alliance management. Most recently , I led corporate development and investment efforts at UCLA Technology Development Group (TDG) in commercial assets in the life science space. Before joining TDG, I managed Teva Global R&D early stage partnerships programs at the company's headquarters. I’ve created global partnerships as part of Teva's R&D strategy such as the National Network of Excellence in Neuroscience (NNE). Prior to joining Teva, I was at VBL Therapeutics, a publicly traded (NASDAQ: VBLT), late-stage clinical biotechnology company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of first in class treatments for immune-inflammatory diseases and cancer where I led innovative medical research in the Oncology and Neuro-Oncology fields, developing novel drug delivery systems.
