Guy Lundy leads Spencer Stuart’s South African office. Spencer Stuart brings together the market and leadership knowledge of leadership advisory consultants across more than 70 offices in 31 countries. Guy forms part of the global Consumer Goods and Financial Services industry practices, and he focuses his search and advisory work on clients across Southern Africa.Guy is an experienced management consultant and sought-after professional keynote speaker, focusing on future trends, with particular focus on South Africa and the African continent. He is also an experienced Board Member, having sat on the Boards of several South African organisations.Guy was previously a Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry International and a Partner at Odgers Berndtson. Before entering the world of executive search and leadership consulting, he was the CEO of Accelerate Cape Town, a business think tank that brings together the leaders of large corporates and other stakeholders to promote and drive the long-term development of the Cape Town city region. He has also worked for a number of large organisations on four different continents, including Dimension Data, Ernst & Young Management Consulting, Oracle, and the London Stock Exchange.He is the author of two books about South Africa and its future: "South Africa: Reasons to Believe" and "South Africa 2014: The Story of our Future". In 2009, Guy was listed in Business Day newspaper as one of the "Top 100 thinkers in South Africa".Guy has a Bachelor of Social Science degree and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Economics from the University of Cape Town, and a Master of Philosophy (Futures Studies) from Stellenbosch University, which he attained Cum Laude.
