Manager Research activities at ESICM. Clinical Study Coordinator (eCRF development and management, IRB approval, recruitment of centres, NC relations, data mining,& management,...). Clinical trials focus on e.g.:ARDS, Sepsis, Fluid challenges, Cardiovacular diseases. Mananagement of scientific awards, surveys and projects in ICM, research committee activities and project management. My remit also include EU public affairs, follow-up of committee affairs (meta-analysis), event management and attendance.

Member of the Education Unit at ESTRO- From 2005 to Dec. 2011: webmaster for ESTRO- From 2002 to 2007: Legal affairs: publication in official State Journal, update of the statutes- From 2002 to 2007: Manager of the RTT Committee (Radiation Therapists/Technologists)- From 2002 to 2006: in charge of Society Affairs for ESTRO (Steering Committee, Board, Elections) - From 2002 to 2006: Project Manager for ENLIGHT: European Network for Light Ion Hadron Therapy. For ROSIS: Reporting and Registering of Incidents in Radiation Oncology. For QUARTS: Quantification of Radiation Therapy Infrastructure & Staffing needs. For other Research projects in Radiation Oncology (RTTC Core Curriculum 2nd rev. BIOMED, ...). Tasks included among others drafting applications, submission to EU (FP7, FP8), deliverables, creation of networks, financial management, reporting, communications (newsletters, website, publications in scientific journals).

Manager of a team of IT specialists in CRM and in bar-coding solutions for the Industry including PharmaSerial Tracking systems. Advanco has developped Life Sciences Serialization, Tracking, Tracing and Authentication of Drugs from the Plant to the Pharmacy with SAP. I was responsible for the Dispatching and Time Management of the team's tasks. In charge of External Communications of the company. Events organisation and participation to Trade Fairs. Supervisor of Tenders and Contracts. Follow-up on contracts.

European Organisation for Research & Treatment of Cancer.Manager of the Central Office: Society Affairs (Administrative management of Executive Committee, Board, elections, reporting, minutes taking, follow-up on action lists,...), Administrative Management, External Relations, Liaison with the EORTC Foundation, Team member for events such as the first European Conference on the Economics of Cancer, EORTC clincial trial groups meeting. Administrative support for the Scientific Audit Committee; Follow-up of EU-funded projects in Telematics and Telemedecine; Fundraising activities and Industry Relations. Constant liaison with the EORTC Data Center. Relations with Cancer Societies such as FECS -Federation of European Cancer Socites (now ECCO), INCTR. Human resources: hiring secretaries and administrators: screening of CV, tutoring, etc.. Collaborator for the Education Committee and the Cancer Communications office. Responsible for preparing publication documents and brochures and leaflets.

Team leader of Researchers at SCAD, a then Unit of the SG providing public access to information about EU initiatives and policies. Later this service was transfomred into SCADPlus.Researcher at the SG of the European Commission: EU legislation reporting and analysis. Main topics of work: Social Policy, Health Policy, Regional Policies, Fisheries, Education and Research, Financial Control.
