Looking forward, Grace is seeking more receptive ways to garner awareness about the total effect of smoking and transition her focus again onto women’s health.Outside of academia, Grace enjoys time with the Chi Omega Fraternity giving back to the community; ask her about fundraising for Make-A-Wish at beach volleyball tournaments and chicken wing eating contests! She also volunteered for trail restorations, painted walls at local schools, and wrote cards to veterans and hospitalized children. Athletically, she raced competitively on the Varsity Sailing team representing Cal Poly at College Nationals for the first time in Cal Poly history. On any given day though, she loves making cookies and sending heartwarming texts to her sisters to brighten their days.
