1. Manage entire bid process, both public and design build, from site visit, establishment of bid date, review of RFP, through bid drop or delivery to client. Present status during weekly updates for their territory.2. Review construction drawings and specs to develop sub specific SOWs to be used for bidding process.3. Perform preliminary cost analysis/value engineering, analyze subcontractor bids, balance subcontractor pricing with client needs during initial SOW/Budget creation.4. Develop SOW's/budgets, quantifying all physical aspects of project on as-built and vendor drawings against site checklist and project scope. Request and evaluate competitive bid estimates.5. Review back check comments and evaluate responses against budget impact and formalize into add cost.6. Expedite projects once construction timeline established. Ensure sub-contract issuance is on track per construction schedule. Communicate quotes/budget and status of project at weekly update. (Long lead items and critical path items prioritized) 7. Request site surveys to confirm actual conditions when required.8. Contract with subcontractors to perform work in accordance with approved plans and specifications. 9. Establish/maintain files relating to subcontract and bid package records, plans, specifications, changes, clarifications and as-built drawings.10. Process subcontractor estimates and generates CORs for changes to be submitted to the Client and direct conversion to Prime Change Order to Contract Administrator. 11. Oversee construction documentation distribution to all field personnel. 12. Review weekly project meeting minutes and PCB/RFIs for potential changes in scope and pricing. 13. Provide leadership and delegate administrative tasks to the Project Engineering Assistant position.
