In high school, I founded, grew, and successfully operated a profitable landscaping business.I developed and implemented new sales strategies and marketing plans to grow my client base, secured long-term accounts through recurring payment plans, and profited further by upselling additional services. I also developed data analysis algorithms to estimate project time and expenses, ensuring large profit margins on every project. My largest contract was a $2000 subdivision landscaping deal which I secured from a much larger company during negotiations. During the winter I launched the largest free advertising campaign of any small business in the city. I created branded merchandise and used my influence in the schools to popularize it. Within a month I had done $1,500 in sales, had nearly 50 kids walking around with my company logo on their chest, and raised funds to purchase new equipment for the next summer.
