•Provide comprehensive training and technical assistance consulting services to a broad-based of community organizations, faith-based institutions, public and private sector operations. •Design state-of-the art, asset-based, risk and resiliency, prevention/intervention methodologies to reduce youth violence and gang violence. •Grant writing, grant reviewing and resource development support to ensure the sustainability and integrity of initiatives that carryout the organization's mission. •Provide strategic planning, implementation, evaluation and oversight of substance abuse, anti-gang and violence prevention initiatives to meet clientele’s goals and objectives related to youth problems and issues. •Provide direct service support including planning, convening and facilitating community and/or neighborhood events/meetings, leading training workshops, consulting and coaching community members, law enforcement and other stakeholders. •Serve as content expert in areas of preventing substance abuse, gang awareness and youth violence; conflict resolution and community engagement strategies. •Develop and document program models and evaluation strategies. Assist clients in developing tools to maintain strong relationships with current community leaders, partners and law enforcement agencies. •Help build new or potential relationships to expand reach and scope of work in underserved communities.

•Provide leadership that supports and guides the organization’s mission as defined by the Board of Directors.•Effectively communicate with Board to provide timely and accurate information necessary for Board to function properly and to make informed decisions.•Provide administrative leadership and oversight for this nationally recognized faith and community based, nonprofit serving youth, families and communities through National, State and local collaborative partnerships. •Responsibilities include overall planning, development, fundraising and implementation of data-driven, environmental strategies and best practices initiatives to community problem solving of behavioral health issues. •Work within diverse neighborhoods, schools, faith and other groups to support community-based efforts that prevent and reduce substance abuse, crime, youth violence and related anti-social behaviors through training, mentoring, leadership development and collaboration. •Facilitate collaboration and capacity building among all sectors of the community including the faith-based, education, law enforcement and other key stakeholders. •Provide education, training and advocacy support in following areas of need in underserved communities including: 1) Substance Abuse Prevention and Health Promotion promoting healthy lifestyles, family problem-solving & coping skills development; 2)Youth Development [Youth Leadership and Family Enrichment Institute] a comprehensive approach to leadership development, youth and gang violence prevention;3)Workforce Development [Community Technology Institute] job training, referral & placement services for economically disenfranchised communities; 4) Veterans and Military Families and Juvenile Justice Re-Entry Services including mental/behavioral health support, substance abuse prevention, treatment and recovery; and employment & housing resources/referral services for soldiers and their families and juvenile offenders.

Responsibilities included the operational success of this substance-abuse focused nonprofit ensuring seamless team management, program development, implementation, quality control and evaluation.
