I cover environmental policy for the Adirondack Explorer magazine, in partnership with The Times Union of Albany. I am also a member of the Legislative Correspondents Association in Albany.

I covered environmental issues and local governments. I took photos for many of my own stories. I also shot stand-alone photos for centerpieces. My stories appeared in multiple Adirondack-region newspapers as part of a collaboration effort including in The Watertown Daily Times, Olean Times Herald, Lake Placid News, The Ogdensburg Journal and The Adirondack Daily Enterprise.

I covered the Cayuga County Legislature, breaking news and the environment for The Citizen. My coverage focused on cyanobacteria blooms in Owasco Lake and the local effort to keep toxins from contaminating the drinking water. I wrote between five and 15 stories a week and sometimes took photos, too.

Wrote an article on climate change and its impact on ice-in and ice-out of Adirondack lakes.

Taught one-hour each classes for yoga and gentle yoga twice a week at the Auburn YMCA, substituted yoga classes as needed

As part of the Digital Team I was responsible for video production and social media campaigns. I helped storyboard, film, interview subjects and edit pieces for clients. As a social media campaign manager, I set up and monitored ads for Google, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. I worked with national and international clients including the World Health Organization, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Afterschool Alliance, the Citi Foundation, PATH Malaria Vaccine Initiative, TB Alliance, Rights and Resources Initiative and others. I was also the web editor for the Burness website. I made sure our most current work and events were featured and managed the editorial calendar.

Instructional associate for a climate change communications class focusing on research in the Florida Keys. I was the managing editor of our iBook, Key Connections. I edited pieces, made sure videos were compressed, delegated jobs, worked on the design of the product, worked on heds and deks and researched other publishing options including epub.

I was the graduate assistant for the NPPA's Multimedia Immersion Workshop 2013. I helped organize binders with handouts from various professional photographers, made copies and helped run logistics for the week-long event.

Added various public opinion questions from research companies such as the Pew Research Center, NBC, CBS, AP, Gallup and others into the iPoll database, analyzed and created a write-up about trends regarding the public's view of the United States' involvement in world affairs
