I am Full Professor and Chair in Uncertainty Modelling at the University of Edinburgh Business School. My research is focused on automated reasoning. I develop systems that aim to be robust and scalable in such a way to enable computers to act intelligently in increasingly complex real world settings and in uncertain environments.I have expertise in a variety of fields such as decision making under uncertainty, risk management, inventory control, production planning.
