JubailPlanning Phase:• For all the upcoming approved work orders, permits are prepared by completing all the receiver sections of the work permit.• Submit the permit in Work Permit Validation meeting for review and identification of the safety requirements, equipment and area preparation for approval of Operations and Maintenance department.• For high risk activities, the permit is submitted to Area Superintendent for clearance.Execution Phase:• Operation Shift Supervisor authorizes or revalidates the permit at beginning of every shift.• Joint Site Inspection and Gas test are conducted along with the Lead Field Operator or with Shift Supervisor for high risk activities to ensure that the work is safe to proceed.• After the review and validation of conditions and precautions, receiver accepts the permit.• Oversaw the work to ensure that it is conducted in safe manner as mentioned in the permit and if condition changes, work has to be stopped and notify the authorities.• Notifying the issuer about the work progress and ensure that the site is returned to a safe state.• Once the job completed close the permit or handover the permits to the next shift if work has to be continued.

Keep a horn and fire extinguisher in order to use in such situation.• In case of emergency, initiate rescue plan and notify emergency services. Supervise the rescue without entering the confined space.
