Developed and directed the summer activities for Portland Parks and Recreation summer camp based out of Lane Middle School.

As a site instructor with CampfireColumbia I took on the mission of helping At Risk youth not only raise grades, and work towards getting back on track to graduate, but also taught goal management and good study habits. In the effort to teach them the skills they need to be successful throughout high school and in to the real world, I prepared students of diverse populations to be college ready and productive members of society.Worked closely with low income families to bridge the gap between teachers and parents. I set up machines to make parts out of raw metal. Then those parts get made in to the worlds best bicycle components.

Acted as head teacher of an 8th Grader American History class while fulfilling my teaching program through Western State College of Colorado.Worked closely with families of diverse populations and high needs students to ensure equity in education. Instructed and designed curriculum and lesson plans that ranged Pre-European Contact to the Civil War according to state standards and benchmarks.
