• Support the hospital's departments to provide items on time, on quality, and on budget.• Coordinate the ordering of new instruments - Equipment's - supplies - consumables.• Liaise on procurement and planning issues, works, within purchasing guidelines to obtain the best available items at competitive rates.• Maintain active liaison with departments concerning instruments, equipment's, and supplies requirements.• Expedite urgent / priority through the system and track receipt of requested items by the end user department.• Meet with vendors on a regular basis concerning quality availability and to obtain quotes on various supplies and informs on price changes with the oppropriate people• Coordinate with stores regarding items with short expiry dates, unconsumed items and excess stocks, with view to extend return or exchange due dates with the vendor.• Training new staff and existing associates.• Work with many department (medical store -operations room• - endoscopy -c.s.s.d - lab - RDU - biomedical- dental
