Pcb Design Engineer
Current- Design single sided, double sided and multi-layered PCB’s using industry standard techniques, ensuring consideration for DFM/DFT have been made. - Responsible for completing ATE PCB designs in accordance with agreed project time, cost, quality and performance requirements using CADENCE ALLEGRO, ORCAD software for Layout and schematics for up to 42 layers.- Schematic capture, circuit placement/routing and documentation of the board layout. - Sound proficiency in power analog engineering fundamentals and circuit design techniques.- Outstanding ability to work under high pressure deadlines. - Knowledge and practical experience on EMC, grounding, crosstalk, signal integrity, impedance control, and power distribution network design. - Proven experience on PCB layout of power boards, i.e low voltage/low current PCB design, power supplies, isolation, clearance.- Working with Component Engineers/Application Engineers regarding creation of Bill of Materials.- Completed overall PCB projects of AQUANTIA, NXP, and NVIDIA including component development, ORCAD schematic design, layout designing and NETLIST/NETLENGTH excel reports.- Provided technical consultancy & application support to customers on design in view of SI and PI.- Project for customers like Nvidia, Xilinx,AMD, Intel, NXP, STMicro, Transimitta, Mind Speed, INPHI, Open silicon, etc- Set up electrical parameters in the constraint manager in Allegro 17.xx.-Designed for manufacture (DFM), assembly (DFA) and test (DFT).- Verified Schematic I/O connections, power supply connections by generating intelligent reports and verified in excel.- Write up - load Gerber (274x or ODB format) in Frontline INCAM Pro.-Communicating with Application Engineers based in San Jose, Costa Rica, Canada, Florida,Taiwan and Shanghai.- Extensive knowledge in and designed ATE boards on Advantest 93K, T2K, Ultra Flex and configurations.- Gerber Generation, ODB++ generation and checking using CAM350
