As a college student, I am extremely passionate about learning. I love to learn, inside and outside of the classroom. My hobbies outside of the classroom include reading, hiking, and going to the gym. Reading teaches me how to think critically and consider all perspectives before making a decision. Hiking teaches me that the world is so much bigger than imaginable, and it is my duty to protect it. Lastly, going to the gym regularly teaches me that I am capable of so much more than I think. At Indiana University, I am honored to be on the executive dean’s list for this past semester. On campus, I have the pleasure of serving as the president of the Muslim Student Association (MSA). As the youngest president in MSA history, I strive to cultivate a welcoming environment for not just Muslim students, but anyone on campus. I am currently searching for opportunities that grant me experience in the sciences. I will bring my optimism, determination, and passion to any team that I work with.
