Worked with a variety of cutting edge 3D reconstruction techniques built utilizing machine learning, including Gaussian Splatting. Evaluated the potential of various methods detailed in research papers used to produce high quality digital avatars, as well as developing workflows to convert static reconstructions into volumetric video. Now building a pipeline and evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of Gaussian Avatars in the context of games, and will be writing a research paper based on our findings!

Lead the Game Development Students Association in bringing value to our students through events, guests speakers, and workshops. Lead a team of 7 in delegating tasks, organization, defining goals, and working with faculty. Improved engagement with students, hosting our biggest Game Jam ever and bringing in fantastic and attention grabbing guest speakers from premiere game studios.

Developed Unreal Engine Tutorial Content for the Game Development Workshop course for the new game development program map. Learned Unreal Engine and built documents, videos and assignments that helped students engage with the most important parts of the engine, while providing additional resources that would allow students to venture further into specific topics. Content was for students with Unity experience but no prior Unreal Engine or any other commercial game engine.

Helped build a navigation system for the blind and partially sighted to help them navigate virtual spaces and gather information.

Worked as a project manager and game designer for a student team of game developers for the game development and entrepreneurship program at Ontario Tech University. Lead a group of six developers through weekly meetings, settings goals and deadlines as well as delegating work.

Tutoring children in Programming, as well as math and English.
