If you had told 2013 me that my part time job at Old Navy that I got to get through college would eventually become a full time career spanning 10 years, I would’ve laughed in your face. Turns out, I have a passion for the fast paced hustle and bustle of life in retail. I thrive in an environment where there is NEVER a shortage of work to do. I love contributing to the growth of a business and seeing the fruits of my team’s labor pay off in a big way. Throughout my career at Old Navy, I held every store level position there was and worked my way up after starting as a brand associate. My time at Old Navy helped me learn how to run a multi-million dollar business, and was crucial to helping me grow as a leader. While there, I came to understand how much skill is truly involved in retail management. Retail workers should never be underestimated. When I made the move to Athleta, I found my home. It was amazing to see a brand be so geared toward female empowerment and inclusivity. I stand behind the message of the company and am so proud to work for such a special brand. After 1.5 years, I was promoted to General Manager at the unique Park City Main Street location in Utah. I have so enjoyed my time there and I hope to continue my journey for the foreseeable future.
