With my degree in Textile and Surface Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology I have been educated in the growth of florals in pattern design and presentation skills. My interests include interior decorating, design for the home, and creating painted motifs for repeating patterns. I have experience in both the apparel industry and luxury home interiors. From learning the fast-paced creative direction in apparel to being trained in designing for wallcoverings and textiles for high-priority clients; I have experienced extensive challenges in furthering my design career. My skills include designing digital textures in Photoshop, sending off production-ready files, and color trend research.One of my favorite places to visit and be inspired is spending the day at the D&D Building in NYC. Walking through the fabric showrooms and feeling the textiles always gets me thinking of what I want to accomplish next in this industry.I am from New England and I love spending my summers enjoying our lovely beaches. My favorite designer apparel brand is Ralph Lauren. My favorite interior style is Modern Transitional design.
