About Hailey Schmidt

In my line of work, I aspire to do just that.My research focuses on the application of remote sensing technology, machine learning, and simulation modeling to agroecosystems across the United States. Specifically, I am interested in using these tools to contribute towards more precise management of woody encroachment. This work is currently being completed as part of my dissertation for a PhD in Rangeland, Wildlife, and Fisheries Management at Texas A&M University.I have worked on numerous projects with entities such as the UN FAO, NASA MSFC, U.S EPA, the California Academy of Sciences, and the University of Texas at San Antonio.
