I take on the role and responsibility of maintaining campus residence halls and ensuring resident's safety around Lakeland University's campus. In addition, I am responsible for the creation and implementation of residence hall events that bring together the Lakeland community. As a resident assistant, I am faced with adversity on a consistent basis when dealing with residents. Along with being a campus resource, I am also a confidential resource for residents. I communicate with my team when facing difficult situations by submitting professional paperwork to my supervisor and informing the other resident assistants of any issues with residents.

As a Student Ambassador for Lakeland University, I provide campus tours to prospective students and families to share insight into the Lakeland Univeristy experience. After tours are completed, I accurately document interactions with the prospective students into an electroic database (Jenzabar). I remain connected to the students after the tours to serve as a campus resource.

I served as a member of the United Way team, effectively completing a wide-range of tasks for the organization. During my time at United Way, I updated the organization's website, submitted weekly volunteer opportunities to the Sheboygan County newspapers, preformed assembly work for many events, updated agency contacts on ConstantContact, managed inquires for UW's radio show and assembled volunteer opportunities for large groups of volunteers. Along with these tasks, I was also able to efficiently communicate with my team to ensure each project was completed correctly.

Sheboygan, Wisconsin Area

I worked to adequately assist in the planning and implementation of company events alongside the events and marketing team. I contacted and consistently communicated with outside vendors, customers and other AO employees to ensure we provided our customers with the best experience in attending our events. I also completed tasks such as expense reports, submitted expense receipts on ExpenseWatch, managed excel spreadsheets that included event and customer details, assembled important marketing materials and preformed database clean-up for our sales and marketing dashboards.

Elkhart Lake, Wi

I ensured the best service to the clients at JayLee Inn Bed and Breakfast in the preparation, service and cleanup of high tea and room bookings. My supervisor and I worked together closely to plan the meals for high tea, greet the customers and consistently check-in to their tables to adequately serve their needs. I managed high tea transactions with the customers and documented each transaction into a spreadsheet for JayLee Inn's records.
