I am responsible for the product design of over 400SKUs per year for Disney's China exclusive range. The primary focus is currently fashion apparel and accessories, with a view to develop Disney's appeal to the local young adult market.I am in charge of the complete product development cycle from gathering initial inspirations, brain storming with input from buyer and planning teams, sketching, selecting fabric and trims, all the way though to factory visits and quality control ahead of mass production. For product ranges which are not designed by me personally, I work together with external service providers, giving product design direction, inspirations & references, sketch approval, and sample review & adjustment. In addition, I oversee all Disney Store merchandise buying from other countries such as Japan and the US, to ensure all items are suitable for the China market; as well as in-store visual merchandising, creative or marketing related events, product trade dress localization, etc.

I'm currently working as Lead designer, Fashion at The Walt Disney Company Disney Consumer Product department.I have overall responsibility for the management of over 20 Disney licensees, which requires a high capability in communications, client relationship management, in addition to my design background.My role includes the following responsibilities:- Creating pitching decks to attract new licences, together with Disney category marketing team, based on analysis of prospective licensees' characteristics and targeted sub-markets.- New licensee training as well as continual renewal of training decks according to the evolution of Disney's overarching style guide.- Creative leadership work to provide licensee design direction and inspiration.- Artwork approval, from concept sketching to finial production samples.- Disney/Pixar/Marvel/StarWars related local style guides development.

Working as a freelance branding designer in graphic part.

Work included acting as a graphic-visual Designer for the French Chinese Culture Exchange Festival 2009 project named "Croisements".Duties included designing all visual projects such as the main visual and LOGO of Croisements 2009. Promotional display designs included "faguowenhua" (French culture) and Croisements website pages design, posters of Croisements 2009, Kakemono (2 pic) and postcards (10 pic). Finally a 72 page (front and back) brochure and backdrop design of Croisements 2009.

Work included acting as a Designer-Illustrator for ISAK International Holdings Ltd (ISAK) furniture company. Duties included designing webpages displaying the complete range of ISAK sofas. Pages showed a computer generated environment for the furniture which allows customers to see the sofas in a living room setting and get a sense of scale. I was also commissioned to design the containers for sofa covers and posters. On a separate design project for Block8 nightclub, a partner of ISAK, I made graphic illustrations designed which would become decorative products for the company, fabric sampling information cards to inform customers about fabric options, and lastly designed their moon cake boxes.
