Hal Jarrett Stephens has both a Master and Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, a minority serving institution (MSI) for Native Americans, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Carolina Bible College in North Carolina.Hal Jarrett pursued workshops and education in grief & loss, spirituality, and mental health before completing his degrees in social work. He has over a decade of working with diverse clients including everyone from hospice patients to young couples.The diverse professional and personal experiences he has navigated have instilled resilience, optimism, and vision — qualities that empower him to transform obstacles into opportunities. As a first-generation college graduate in a rural town, he learned to rise above hardships through determination and by finding purpose in helping others reach their potential.
