• Assist in the implementation of local& cultural programming events strictly for international students (examples include Chinese New Year celebration, Cultural Awareness days, Connection Weekend, Holiday Host Homes, River Cats games, museum visits, etc.) • Actively participate in International Student Orientation (ISO) by attending activities, leading workshops, and performing tasks specifically for international students and as outlined by the Director of Orientation& Transitions • Encourage the attendance of international students to Jessup related events • Intentionally connect with all assigned students at least once per week to offer academic, social, and cultural support (meals, errands, study groups, one on ones, etc.) • Assess expressed needs of students, direct them to the correct support services and/or outline their needed process (ex: Student Accounts, registrar, Housing, academic tutoring, test proctoring, etc.) • Foster a community of cultural sensitivity & acceptance among Jessup students, faculty, and staff • Attend at least one California exploration trip (San Francisco, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and Disneyland/LA)-Approximately two trips will be offered per semester. • International Students Event Poster Designer, Event Planning.
