With an absolute passion for what I do, I’ve enjoyed a career within talent acquisition since 2012.I have developed high level skills in:- Best practice talent acquisition- Employer branding- Total rewards and EVP- Inclusive recruitment - Social media- Project management - Marketing and communications- Leading and mentoringI bring a people-centred and contemporary approach to maximising organisational objectives and deliverables, and I understand just how essential creative talent sourcing and employer branding are to any business. I have presented on talent acquisition, employer branding strategy and total rewards at Board and ELT level, and received CEO and Chair endorsement for my work. I’ve managed social media marketing for recruitment strategies and employer promotion across three countries, incorporating LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Glassdoor.I am highly skilled in all facets of recruitment, from situational and behavioural based interviewing and psychometric testing, to assessment centre facilitation, volume recruitment and talent pipelining. Data collation and analysis has played a large part in my approach to best practice, and I enjoy building strong hiring manager relationships and providing positive candidate experiences, while balancing the needs of policy and EBA. I’m committed to inclusive recruitment practices; having a workforce that is inclusive and representative is extremely important to me, and I am privileged and proud to be a member of our Disability Action Plan, Aboriginal Employment Plan and Gender Equality working groups.I have a growing interest in AI and how this will impact people, skills and workplaces of the future, especially within healthcare.I regularly upskill by completing training and attending webinars, round tables etc on relative topics of interest. Covid cut short my extended travels and saw me temporarily return to NZ where I managed a competency team for Avetta, before returning to Melbourne to help create the brand new talent acquisition function at the University of Melbourne. I have now moved into public health, a change that has brought me an immense sense of purpose in my contribution.
