About Alex Kang
As a Computer Science Student at Brigham Young University, I am pursuing my passion for software development and learning new technologies, frameworks, and languages. I am on track to graduate in April 2024 with a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, databases, web development, and software engineering principles.I am also currently a Web Developer at Center for Teaching & Learning, where I collaborate with a team to create and maintain web applications that enhance the online learning experience for students and faculty. We use Vue, PHP, and Tailwind CSS in the front-end to develop a Learning Management System called "Learning Suite" for BYU. I have contributed to improving the website performance, usability, and accessibility, as well as developing new features and functionalities tailored to the unique needs of BYU's instructors.Through my work experiences and personal projects, I have gained hands-on experience in various aspects of software development, such as deep learning, computer security, and full-stack development. For example...I have a strong work ethic, a collaborative mindset, and a growth-oriented attitude. I am always eager to improve my skills, expand my knowledge, and challenge myself with new problems. My goal is to become a proficient and versatile software engineer who can deliver high-quality solution.I'm graduating in April 2024 and I'm interested in a career in software engineering.
