I developed a love for the outdoors after a trip to the Grand Canyon with my family when I in High School. I went back and forth with what I really wanted to do as a career and what I’m truly passionate about and outdoor activities and recreation were always there. That’s why I decided to pursue Recreation Management as a career path. I’ve gained many skills related to recreation and also to management.✅ Learn to skate instrutor: I grew up figure skating and was so excited to bring that love I have for skating to others! As a skate instructor, I work hands on with children and youth to help them develop and master figure skating techniques. With this, I have the opportunity to inspire and encourage them.✅ Parks and Recreation: As an employee for the local parks and recreation department, I have the opportunity to work with the public and help them have an amazing experience. I help at both the recreation center and the ice arena. This includes having stellar customer serice, working in a timely manner, helping guests, and handling the POS system and money. ⛰ My goal for the future is to become a Park Ranger for the National Parks System. I’m passionate about learning, the enviornment, helping others, and how we can better protect or precious lands.🏕 When I’m not working or at school, I love to do any outdoor activity from kayaking to hiking to backpacking. I’m willing to try almost any new activity!
