IT Controls Manager responsible leading the IT Controls team in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the IT internal controls framework for Bridgestone Americas. Our goal was to strategically focus our efforts in establishing an IT controls environment that is risk based, proactive, and using controls that are more automated and preventative in nature.

• Responsible for the planning and supervision of IT and JSOX audits for Bridgestone’s North America and Latin America business units. • Assessed existing compliance frameworks and audit methodologies to identify gaps in controls, unaddressed risks, and opportunities for improvement in our audit methodology in order to better align team's activities with IT audit best practices, industry standards, and the Company's priorities.• Helped with the planning and execution of IT controls transformation project to develop a formalized and standardize risk and control frameworks for IT systems across the Company's multiple business units, IT systems, and IT processes.

• Responsible for managing teams providing IT advisory services within the healthcare and consumer and industrial products industries with a focus on Assurance Services, Reporting Readiness, and Third Party Assurance for both publicly and private clients.• Executed IT and Business process internal control audits, as well as non-compliance advisory projects through risk assessments, scoping and development of audit plan, and controls testing and issue rationalization.
