As a Professional Development Operations Scheduler, I utilized SalesForce to schedule 235+ Service Appointments for our Ready For School (RFS) season 2024 with 100% held on the district’s preferred date. I incorporated the grace and grit I honed as a educator in order to handle PD cancellations, escalations, and last minute requests calmly. Moreover, I fostered relationships among various parties in order to best care for our customers' needs. In this role, I also grew my capacity to autonomously manage my workload with accuracy, efficiency, and promptness, consistently exceeding deadlines for all PD scheduling tasks.As a Professional Learning Specialist at Amplify, I supported teachers in enhancing their practices and empowering their students. I leveraged my BA in English and my experience as a teacher leader and an online educator to deliver and design engaging and effective professional development sessions for a variety of K-12 settings. My passion for education and remote learning stems from my diverse and impactful teaching experiences. I taught 7th grade English and Social Studies for three years in Georgia, where I became the English Department Chair and was nominated for teacher of the year twice for my success in remote and hybrid learning. I also taught in Hong Kong and online for Elevate K-12, Fullmind (previously iTutor.com), and VIPKid where I honed my skills in remote education, curriculum development, and educational technology integration. My goal is to continue to learn and grow as an educator and a coach, and to share my knowledge and skills with others.
