Assist in coordinating all aspects of museum events, as well as private and corporate functions. In charge of event ticketing for major galas such as Autumn Dinner and the Young Fellows Ball. Create invitation mailing lists for various events and coordinate with mail house for mailing of the invitations. Liaise with catering and party rental companies for various events both corporate, private, and museum related. Manage check in and front of house operations during events. Maintain and distribute a schedule of events for museum staff. Independently oversee after-hours/weekend events. Work with graphic designer to create menus and place cards for events. Create and maintain sponsorship decks for financial and in-kind sponsors. Lead on-site tours of event spaces with potential clients. Create and maintain private and corporate event inquiry materials and brochures. Process invoices for various event expenses.

Assist with onsite sales while promoting proactive sales efforts throughout the Museum. Work with members on-site, by e-mail, and by phone to resolve issues and address concerns. Organize and edit Members’ information in databases such as Salesforce and AS 400. Work to keep lobby operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Planned and executed large-scale events for the PopRally affiliate program at MoMA. This includes coordinating all aspects of the events from start to finish. Other daily tasks included email correspondence, creating a monthly newsletter, and archiving our past events.
