Interning with the facilities and maintenance sales team out of the Columbia, MD Aerotek office. My roles include prospecting new possible clients, sitting in on meetings with clients, going on the road with our sales team to on site meetings, and learning as much as I can from all the people I am working under.

I began in this role as an intern. I learned how to use certain job finding websites, such as Indeed and the Aerotek database. I began calling candidates and inputting notes on them, making sure their resumes were complete up to standards, and even interview candidates with my manager. After a few months I was brought into the sourcing specialist role, working under recruiters and helping them source candidates.

I would shampoo customers, take deliveries on products, answer phone calls, greet customers at the door, and help maintain upkeep of the salon. I enjoyed this role because I was able to interact with customers every day in person and over the phone.

I greeted customers and escorted them to their tables, while also keeping track of to go orders and answering phones for reservations. As a food runner, I would bring the food out to tables and explain each dish that was prepared, while making sure the customers did not need anything else.
