I deal with various environmental media, focusing on hazardous materials/waste, solid waste, and water. Report-writing, permit modifications/maintenance, and data collection are among some of my major job responsibilities.

I was responsible for performing routine water sample analysis to ensure safe drinking water reached the community. Making chemical adjustments and trouble-shooting to ensure everything at the plant ran smoothly was a critical part of my role. I was also chair of the internal Lead & Copper Rule Committee which helped the utility meet EPA compliance in an effective and organized way.

In this role, I was responsible for monitoring glass and packaging defects in a production environment and determining the proper action to take when defects or problems were found. I often had to communicate with vendors to find solutions to material issues. Quick thinking, leading groups to solve problems, and communicating and working with other departments were large parts of my role.

Focusing more on the liquid side of production, I was responsible for monitoring bottling line sample proofs, as well as distilling liqueurs that came in for bottling. I also analyzed samples for color and turbidity. Recording results in databases and relaying information to other departments were also main components of my job.

I collected payments from patients and also set up insurance claims for each patient after their visit. I was responsible for filing documentation and other important information in patient charts and keeping those charts organized as well.
