I created and taught English lesson plans to adult refugees and immigrants in the Boston area. I designed classes based on the 100 civics questions and the N-400 Application to help students pass their U.S. citizenship test. I also conducted intakes and facilitated assessments for new students while keeping their information confidential. During workshops and after class I revised and created resumes for students and helped them through the job application process. I also helped train new hires in Salesforce, Google Calendar, Classroom, and Sheets and managed ongoing voicemails, emails, and text messages that are sent to our organization daily.

I served customers at the register and assisted in stocking shelves, answering phones, and keeping registers organized. I greeted customers upon entry and helped them with any questions or concerns.

I helped create schedules to balance coworkers’ preferences with the store’s needs to maximize customer service. I consistently surpassed monthly sales goals by providing friendly, professional customer service to a wide range of patrons. I assessed product appeal and how to gain sales through customer service, product placement, and advertising. I also interviewed and hired candidates.

I efficiently picked out specific products for customers unable to visit the store themselves and collaborated with 10 other personal shoppers to ensure all deliveries were handled proficiently.

I trained new employees on the register, exchanging money, and customer service. I oversaw the coordination of 20 employees to ensure store duties such as registers, shelving items, dusting displays, and retrieving carts from the parking lot were taken care of. I also balanced cash drawers at the start and end of the day to ensure that all transactions were correct. In addition, I resolved customers’ concerns and assisted in finding alternate products for customers.

I maintained clean and organized checkout areas and provided excellent customer service while scanning each item swiftly. I also bagged customers’ groceries promptly.
