Haley earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Experience Design and Interaction from Utah State University.Her time at college was marked by exceptional achievements and recognition, including being honored as the Scholar of the Year by the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services in 2023. As a standout student, Haley also emerged as the 2023 valedictorian in Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences, showcasing her exceptional dedication and commitment to academic excellence. Additional accolades includes a finalist for Scholar of the Year Robins Award 2023, awarded the CEHS A-pin award twice, listed on the CEHS Dean’s List, and received Graphic Designer of the Year in 2018.With a specialized focus on accessible design practices, Haley demonstrates a deep passion for creating inclusive experiences. Her dedication to implementing research-informed design decisions paired with prioritizing human-focused solutions bridges the gap between technology and users, ensuring that everyone can enjoy seamless digital experiences. She currently works with WebAIM, a non-profit organization through Utah State University, as a Web Accessibility Assistant. Currently, Haley also works as the Social Media Manager and Content Creator for an online business and YouTube channel, Empowered Cooks. Her work on the team has strengthened and renewed their social media efforts, growing their Instagram platform from less than an hundred followers to over 1k in as little as 3 months. As the Content Creator, she listens actively to the needs of customers to provide support and redirection for the business in creating new products, videos, and services.
