Advocate for the needs of the Division of Student Affairs in Atlantic City, responsible for communicating with the leadership of each department to proactively address any issues and/or opportunities. Create a cohesive operational plan for student and staff needs in Atlantic City, bridging the gap between academic and student affairs. Oversee the coordination of all services and budgetary matters pertaining to Atlantic City functions and operations.Serve as the managing liaison to the Office of Residential Life, Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, Event Services, the Educational Opportunity Fund Program (EOF), Career Center, Coordinated Actions to Retain and Educate Program (CARE), Counseling and Wellness Center, Military and Veteran Services, Women’s Gender and Sexuality Center, Facilities and Plant Management, Admissions, and Athletics.Participate in the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT) as the point person for implementing a strategic plan to holistically manage incidents and follow up in Atlantic City. Work collaboratively with the Atlantic City Residential Life staff to adjudicate and manage conduct cases and follow-up.Manage all student affairs related marketing efforts with respect to Stockton in Atlantic City. Create cohesive and strategic programming model for Stockton in Atlantic City and incorporate the needs of academic affairs and the Atlantic City Operations team.Communicate, advocate, and facilitate best practices with the Stockton Police Department, the Atlantic City Police Department, the Atlantic City Fire Department, the outside security company for Atlantic City, and the Stockton emergency management coordinator.

Lead the Atlantic City housing operation, select train, supervise and evaluate professional and paraprofessional staff members for Atlantic City campus; serve as liaison to Plant Management to monitor residential facility upgrade/maintenance projects, ensure facility readiness for occupancy and timely response for residential work orders, and coordinate with lock shop and access control for the residential areas on campus; collaborate with Atlantic City Chief Operating Officer, Assistant to the Provost for Atlantic City, Director for Student Affairs Operations and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs to actualize Atlantic City projects and initiative; serve on all committees and task forces with respect to Atlantic City; collaborate with Galloway Residential Life staff to incorporate the Atlantic City campus into the housing selection/assignment process, check-in, student conduct, and all other essential residential life functions; serve as a liaison to Atlantic City academic program constituents to develop and monitor opportunities for public/private partnerships to enhance residential experience; collaborate with Atlantic City partners to enhance and create service opportunities for students; design programming model for Atlantic City housing; work alongside Stockton campus police, Atlantic City police and security firm to monitor building safety and security, supervise marketing of Atlantic City residential complex, programs and services; provide support to all institution wide offices and committees that seek to support the goals of residential living and learning; participate in evening and weekend and holiday on call duty management rotation year round and serve as a constant support for the Complex Director staff; work to inspire and encourage meaningful and positive living and learning in Atlantic City in all actions, as a leader, of the Stockton community.

Provide training, advisement, leadership, guidance, and support for the Stockton Entertainment Team; supervise and mentor Graduate staff members, coordinate and develop comprehensive and diverse evening and weekend programming and serve as an onsite professional staff member at events; develop training programs for student club and organization officers; assist in the collaboration and support of Welcome Week, Kick Off Week, and Senior Send-Off programming; advise various student clubs and organizations; work to create intentional student learning outcomes and assessment tools for the Office of Student Development; support Orientation and S.OA.R programs; cultivate multicultural organizations and ensure successful collaborations and diverse programming calendar; strive to positively impact all Stockton students and increase on-campus involvement as a whole.

Manage residential complex containing 2,250 first year students; supervise staff of Graduate Hall Directors and Undergraduate Resident Assistants; participate in professional on call crisis duty rotation for 2 residential campuses for a total of 6,000 students responding to incidents including psychological concerns, student arrests, domestic violence, assault, and serious alcohol transports; provide timely response and follow up to students, parents, and faculty/staff regarding emergency and crisis situations; serve on departmental taskforce on diversity education, professional development and large scale programming; implement campus wide programming initiatives; responsible for budget of approximately $25,000; create departmental programming budgetary guidelines in collaboration with the Student Activities Business Office; work in conjunction with housing staff to meet facilities needs of students; support advising of hall government and student leadership organizations; formulate staff and departmental training sessions; collaborate with various student affairs departments to create a rich environment for learning.

Supervise staff of 8 Resident Assistants; manage 2 halls for a total of 325 students; team with 3 colleagues and 1 professional staff member to manage complex of 1,200 students; maintain budget of approximately $9,000; carry out residential curriculum related to democracy and civic engagement; engage students through intentional challenges as related to curricular model; conduct departmental staff selection and training; formulate complex and campus wide programming; responsible for all building issues and opening/closing procedures; enforce university policies; create and implement assessment models for staff members; conduct educational policy violation conferences; develop a learning rich living environment for all students.

Served as representative of the student body; managed organization with 30 internal members and 6 sub-governmental groups; oversaw and allocated a budget of $578,000; ran weekly meetings with heads of all on-campus organizations; presided over the Student Senate which approves all on-campus legislation and additions to campus life; was liaison for Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior class officers; appointed students to university tri-partite committees and task forces; served as link between the Student Government Association and the Multi-Cultural center, initiated campus events related to diverse issues; created and implemented all training and development sessions; presented updates on campus life to the Board of Trustees.
